We’ve seen the rave reviews about The Wayfarer and have tried to stop for dinner but there was quite a bit of a wait. We tried for a weekday lunch and it was perfect! No wait and absolutely amazing! It is worth the wait (or a drive back for lunch). The reviews are spot on, the pizza is delicious! The peppers were very good too. Highly recommend.

Had a great time here! Love that this spot has such a. variety of elevated food and pizza. Definitely try the focaccia and we love the peppadew peppers and hot honey pizza! If you have a larger party, try to get a reservation ahead of time.

Pleasure to be back in my hometown and celebrate Mothers Day at the Wayfarer Tavern! So many memories flooding in from days gone by. Bartender/server was top notch this day -filling in where needed and providing great trivia and “did you know” about the building. Atmosphere is great -plenty of seating -indoor and out -exposed brick -great ambiance -decor to match the vibe. Had the best wedge salad EVER -must have been the secret dressing! :) My mom had a pizza and tried the hot honey and surprising loved it at her young age of 84.5!! All the wait staff were friendly and kind. Love the nostalgic touch of the postcard and mint at “checkout”. Wine list looks impressive as well-sampled one -and it did not disappoint! Happy to see a thriving business on the Avenue !!

Delicious crispy crust pizza. The focaccia with olive oil and balsamic was also really good. Food was 10/10. Prices are a bit high for the portions, though. Pizzas only come in one size and will feed 1½ people. They are larger than a personal pizza but on the small side for 2 people to share. The restaurant is small and popular so make a reservation. We saw several people leave because there were no tables available for 2 hours, unless you wanted to wait for a bar seat.

We came here tonight and made a build your own pizza. I love how transparent the menu is so that we can totally customize our pizza. Andrew, our bartender, was so attentive, and the manager Cain checked in on us and was super friendly. Pics from after we initially chowed down-it was so good we forgot to take ‘before’ pics.
